2 Mistakes People Make When Beginning To Sell Online

Mistakes are common when it comes to online marketing.

The question is, when will you reach the point where your

mistakes make up for only 2% of your successful online

marketing activities? It's something to think about,

because you don't want to waste more years online

struggling, when you could have solved the main issue

right now.

Today I want to go over some of the most common mistakes

people make when they begin marketing online. Some of

these things are stuff that you've went through already,

are about to go through, or are still going through.

Let's not waste any time. Here's the first that a lot of

beginners make online:

1) Constantly re-starting

What do I mean by "re-starting"? Well, it simply means

that you keep starting your online journey, and then a

short while after, you quit. And the reason for quitting

isn't usually a good one. If you're currently receiving

sales right now, but it's not at the super fast rate that

you want it to be, when then you can't rush things -

especially if you have an incredibly small advertising

budget.

Here's a tip. Get to a point in your internet business

when the current rate that you're receiving sales is

comfortable for you. In other words, it should make you

happy, and cause you to invest some of your earnings

right back into the business. Make sense? Here's another

mistake that beginners make online:

2) Linking directly to your sales page

This is a big no-no. Most people who read your content or

see your ad aren't ready to buy from you yet. Sure... you

can get sales if you directly link to your sales page,

but you're leaving so much more money on the table.

Instead of linking directly to your sales page, link to

your squeeze page where you can follow up on them via

email, and get them to like and understand your material.

You will hear a lot of people tell you that you should do

it in the same way that people used to make money with

Google AdWords. Just get a sales page from somewhere

(your's or an affiliate link), put it in your AdWords ad,

and then drive traffic straight to your page. This is not

good though. You should never do this.

If you're linking directly to your sales page wherever

you advertise online (outside of your email newsletter),

then something tells me that you're being impatient. You

can't be impatient online - especially if you're

advertising budget is small, and if you're only receiving

a small bit of sales online.

These 2 mistakes happen everyday online. New people sign

up to start their own internet business, and then

eventually, they want to test their own "new" ideas of

how to make money. They ignore the proven path that has

been set out before them, and want to do their own thing.

And this is why they fail - for trying to re-invent the

wheel. Don't do this... ever.

Good luck with marketing online. I'd hate to see you make

these mistakes when marketing.
