Work Ethic - The Most Important Ingredient To Succes?

Having great work ethic is something we hear about all the time. It is

a term that is often used but rarely applied. Being great at anything

requires practice. The more you do it, the better you will become.

Seems simple enough right? However, most peoples thought of what great

work ethic is, is completely inaccurate.

Studying the night before an exam for 8 hours straight, is not great

work ethic. Although you may have passed the test, most of that

knowledge will leave you eventually. Studying consistently and daily

will burn what you have learnt into your memory. Forming habits is the

best way to consistency. Get yourself into productive habits, such as

doing at least one thing ever day to inch closer to your dream. Cut

back on things such as television, video games or anything that is not

conducive to achieving your dreams.

Michael Jordan wasn't born to play basketball. He worked harder than

everyone else and became the best. His work ethic, habits and

consistency were relentless. Jordan made up his mind that he would be

the best and would not stop until that was the reality. Same goes for

many successful athletes, actors, music artists and so on. You must

have your priorities in check. Often times you will have to sacrifice

to get your work done. Don't worry the clubs will always be there.

Remember this is not a race, more like a marathon. If you are not

willing to put the time in to achieving your goals then maybe you are

chasing the wrong ones. However, a person who truly wants something is

willing to do whatever it takes to get it. This type of person does

NOT embrace excuses. He or she believes in themself enough to know

they will not fail because giving up is not an option.

Being afraid of failure is like cancer to success. Most people who are

afraid to fail are working 9-5 jobs. More than 90% of millionaires

have failed more than 10 times before they made a success of themself.

Again, this all stems from having outstanding work ethic. Success

doesn't just happen. Nobody is going to knock on your door one day and

hand it to you. You have to go get it! If you fall on your face and

everyone is watching, get back up and try again. People will judge you

not matter what you do in your life, why not do something you love!
