7 Insanely Productive Habits for Your Network Marketing Business

Your success in the network marketing business comes down to habits.

The network marketing business-and the entire home business industry,

for that matter-offers the best potential for the most people to

achieve financial freedom in business, with relatively minimal risk

and investment required.

But this potential comes at a price.

Because you see...
Each and every successful network marketing business builder built his

or her business through sweat equity. That is, he or she worked for

it.

In my experience, the most successful marketers in this industry

followed a clear path to success. Here are the 7 steps, or productive

habits, of their success...

Productive Habit 1

The first productive habit you must acquire and practice is the habit

of defining your goals in terms of what must be done to achieve your

goal.

It's not enough to merely state that you will reach a thousand dollars

in monthly commissions by the New Year. Instead, you need to express

your goals in terms of daily activities... such as making at least 2

new contacts per day, or sharing product samples with 3 new customer

prospects per day.

Traditional goals are like pipedreams, and rarely generate results;

whereas, activity oriented goals are rooted in facts, and get results.

Productive Habit 2

A challenging goal almost invariably involves learning or applying a

new skill...
Which is why the next most important thing you can do to adopt

productive habits and achieve success in your network marketing

business, is to become a student of the business.

That is, make a daily, deliberate effort to learn about business

marketing, prospecting, training new team members, and leadership.

In another example, you may have chosen to use webinars to meet your

daily activity goals of prospecting and making new contacts. If this

were the case, you would obviously need to acquire the skills

necessary to organize, produce, and present webinars.

Productive and successful network marketers do not run from these

challenges-instead, they embrace challenges and take deliberate steps

to meet them head-on.

Productive Habit 3

All the planning in the world, and all the education and training in

the world, is useless-unless and until somebody takes action.

It is not enough to simply dream of success, or write activity goals.

Sadly, the world does not reward us for our thoughts.

Once you have defined your goals in terms of specific activities, and

you have acquired the skills and motivation required to accomplish

your daily activity goals-do it.

As the Nike guys so often say... Just do it.

Productive Habit 4

But don't just do it, and continue to beat your head against the wall

because your sponsor, or a helpful friend, said action was essential

to success.

There is a smarter way to meet your goals...
Yes, take massive action. But then take a step back and measure your

results. Is your activity generating results? If not, why?

Productive Habit 5

Measure your results constantly, and adjust fire to get better

results.

Remember, we are all human. We have brains, and the ability to adapt.

We're not like ants, who will die trying to climb over a mound of

sand, rather than simply walk around it.

In terms of your network marketing business, if prospecting your warm

market and hosting home parties is not working for you, you may need

to ask yourself...
Will working harder to get your warm market to attend your meetings

get the results you want, or is it time to learn new skills and adopt

a new strategy for prospecting?

Productive Habit 6

Once you have measured your results, and taken corrective action to

adjust or refine your applied strategies, you need to reapply

yourself.

Truthfully, it never ends.

You must always apply yourself and take daily action to achieve your

personal development goals, and your network marketing business goals.

Think of it like this...
Could you imagine a professional quarterback only showing up on game

day? Or, a concert pianist only sitting down at the piano when she has

an audience?

No. Professionals practice, and take daily action to improve their

skills-and in most cases they have devoted thousands of hours to

practicing and refining their skills.

Why should the network marketing business be any different?

If we expect to be paid like professionals, we must act like

professionals.

Productive Habit 7

Finally, the one productive habit that trumps everything-is the habit

of perseverance.

That means never quitting. And while the urge to quit may gnaw at you

daily, you have to fight this urge and reapply yourself daily.

Nothing less than constant perseverance-and the refusal to quit-

garners success in the network marketing business.

Bottom Line...

If you want to get things done, build your network marketing business,

and achieve your goals, take massive action, today.

Start with a clear definition of what you want to achieve, and then

raise the bar by acquiring the new skills necessary to complete the

daily activities required to achieve success.

In network marketing, the biggest payoff, and most productive habit

you can adopt is the habit of using attraction marketing to generate

leads and recruit new team members.
